Remembering my Love

If she'd have known
She'd have shown me
I need to taste her pain
For encouragement
If she'd have known
She'd have shown me
I need to taste her pain
For accomplishment
See, I can only take it out on you
There's no-one else I can trust
See, I can only take it out on you
There's no-one else but us around
You hide these things so well
There's no finding
You hide these things so well
There's no finding, no finding

These runs into the blue
There are no edges
How do I know where you are now?
These paper cuts
Need those gravel grind
Need those pictures to wake me
Give up the drugs
Take the power I offer
Oh the deeper I go
The further I fall
The more I know
The tighter your grip around me
So easily broken
Running down your skin
And the pain runs into the blue
If there's ever anyone else, I'll understand
And kill them
And I'll overflow your every inlet
You will not cough and spit
You awoke from the end
And I tell you with my tongue between your toes
If there's ever anyone else
Don't let them do this
And I'll laugh and revel
As you scratch and crawl
If there's ever anyone else
Just show them the ugly mess

You hide these things so well
There's no finding
You hide these things so well
There's no finding, no finding

Alone

Illness isn't funny....it just makes people leave you alone.

If they don't ignore.....you push them out.

I hate me.

Too Many games...too little time

Blimey, they had to bring out Grand Theft Auto 4 didn't they? Like I wasn't going to rush out and buy it (Jeez, I'm old enough to have a kid who is old enough to buy it all by themselves!)

So what has this meant?

Well.....Call of Duty 4, Frontlines Fuel of War, Mass Effect and Assasins Creed have took a boat trip up the Swannee.

I like GTA 4, but I liked these games too....I almost feel pressured to play GTA and GTA only!!!....

I've been the same with the original Xbox....bought a game, played it a bit, loved it....then my attention is diverted by another shiny new object (GTA Vice City & GTA 3...Vice City...Knights of the Old Republic).......I'm like one of those birds that steals and hordes for no reason...

A magpie.....actually I am a Magpie, but in a different light.

Anyway...GTA 4 so far impresses. Like everyone says the city seems a living thing. I'm very tempted like some scamp on Gamespot to follow a resident of Liberty City around, see how their life is. Problem being I would just follow a tramp, where my life would begin to mirror his/hers and I would end up drinking digital metholated spirits and scratching my scabs. Actually this brings out a stark omission from this living world of Liberty City.....CATS AND DOGS....if I were to follow said tramp/hobo (trobo?) and begin to mimic his life then surely a patch should arrive via xbox live to enable me to drag around a digital dog on a digital string, beg for money and harness the the power of tourettes. Hmmmm...just a thought, and only digital of course.

I'm getting more immersed as time goes on........and nearly 100% certain that the violence will not manifest itself on my local streets.

If I had to give GTA 4 a rating, lets give it a solid Jessica Alba.

XBox 360 and me

I bought my 360 what seems like an eternity ago. I had the original Xbox and loved it.

I now love my Xbox 360 even though we have had a troubled relationship.

Ok, I have had only one "red ring of death"...(not even a ring, how stoopid)...but the problems I have had with connectivity to my PC make me scream. A look on message boards is like reading some technical manual for the space shuttle, and being a casual kind of bloke, I really can't be arsed to trawl through someone info who loves the fact they are superior.

But, I still love my 360...because of Xbox live.....because of the controller, because of the downloads, because of the sometimes working connectivity with my PC so I can listen to music whilst in the bath....and mostly because of the games.

I might do some reviews, if I stop being casual and get my backside into gear (of war?).

Cheers
